HOW COAT SYSTEMS’ WATERPROOFING COATING WORKS
Pits and cracks are then filled, and any raised areas are leveled to ensure the seamless finish of your waterproof coating solution. COAT Systems then uses fast-curing cement to thoroughly level the warehouse. They then vacuum any debris that has accumulated during this process.
A durable primer is then used to seal the garage floor. COAT Systems utilizes a two-part process for creating a waterproofing coating solution. The first part is a pigment-based system that’s applied using a roller and a squeegee.
While the primer is still wet, COAT Systems specialists will use industrial sand or decorative flakes to create a base coat. They then spread more than is needed to get the job done. Once the excess material has been removed, the floor will be properly coated.
The second part of the process is evenly applied, and a clear topcoat is then used. This ensures that the solution will last longer and is more consistent. COAT Systems recommends giving the area 24 hours to cure before walking on it, and 48 hours before driving on it. After the area has been cleaned and everything is cleared away, the warehouse floor is ready to be used. Clients of COAT Systems then receive a signed warranty guarantee.
