1. Floor grinding and surface preparation: It is essential to clean and prepare the floor before applying the coating system. An even base ensures optimal coverage.
2. Crack-filling and pit repair: To have a seamless finish, fill all cracks and holes. Fast-curing cement products will level out the floor. The goal is a smooth finish; bumps are the enemy. Vacuum up all debris and dust that occurs during the process.
3. Coloured Epoxy Primer Coat: Seal the floor with a primer for a durable bond. We mix pigments into a 2-part polyurethane epoxy system.
4. Decorative Flakes: We cast chips into the base coat and make sure to spread the flakes evenly throughout the mixture
Metallica Finish: We pour the epoxy design onto the floor at an even 40 mils thick. We cast designs into this pigmented coat.
Industrial Sand Epoxy: Choose the grit of sand we cast into the primer and back roll for even distribution.
5. Clear Polyaspartic topcoat: We apply the final clear coat with rollers and tape. The floor should have 24 hours to cure before being exposed to foot traffic.
